Construction bid change mapping
Carry the addendum through to your bid checklist.
We map the changed specification wording to your trade checklist and prepare the items your estimator needs to review before pricing.
For trade estimators at electrical/mechanical contractors and small general contractors.

One addendum, three checklist effects
Synthetic construction documents. This is a mapping example, not a real bid instruction.

The pilot
Agree the scope first.
$250single-addendum pilot
One text/specification addendum up to 50 pages, up to 150 pages of prior text and a 30-line trade checklist. Includes an updated draft checklist, questions for the estimator, one review call and one correction pass. A current bid needs an agreed review date; a past package can establish the workflow first.
What to bring
The addendum, relevant prior specifications and your bid checklist or estimate lines. We agree the checklist with your estimator. Drawing-change references can be listed, but drawing takeoffs and engineering interpretation are excluded.
What the pilot covers
Text and specification changes only. Drawing takeoffs, engineering interpretation and final pricing remain with your team. We confirm source completeness and the delivery date before accepting a live bid.
We use drawing comparison or contract software.
The question is whether mapping text changes to your trade checklist still takes time. If the existing process handles that well, the pilot may not help.
Can you meet our bid deadline?
We confirm availability and a review date before taking the order. No deadline is promised by this page.
